SUPPLIES
- Can
- Yarn
- Scissors
- Tacky Glue
DIRECTIONS
— 1 —
Remove label from empty can. Wash can.
— 2 —
Starting at the base of the can, put glue on the can (about an inch in depth).
— 3 —
Take the yarn and attach it to the glue, going around the can. Try to keep the rows of yarn pretty tight so you don’t see the can’s metal below. If you would like to use more than one colored yarn, decide which part of the can is the “back” and change yarn colors there.
— 4 —
Continue adding glue (an inch at a time) and attach the yarn until you reach the top of the can. Cut the yarn and make sure that the end is glued to the can.
If you weren’t careful enough when attaching the yarn and could see gaps (like me), then you can repeat the process over the yarn, creating a second layer so you completely cover the can.
