I think I would have loved this doll as a child—she’s so cute and fancy.

I love the graphic nature of the design of this Comet sled.

These vintage lunchboxes are nice—I like that the I Dream of Jeannie lunchbox is set up like a television.

I thought this toy bicycle was cute.

And this Fisher Price cash register is fun.

I thought this MLA Handbook book cover was nice and graphic.

I liked the simplicity of this Applied Business Mathematics book cover.

This flower picture had a very 1960s feel to it—I liked the colors in it.

And this 1970s wall art made me smile. It’s soooooo retro.

I was surprised (and not surprised) to see this sticker machine at a thrift store. The machine takes your picture, you add a border to it and it prints it out as stickers. Back in the day, I thought these were pretty fun. However, these never really caught on in the U.S. as they did in Japan.

Things I Didn’t Buy 79

I thought these old tennis rackets were awesome.

I wasn’t entirely sure what this item was for but it looked interesting. I thought it was for cooking since it looks like a pan on a long stick.

I liked this book cover illustration.

I really liked these Japanese wooden nesting boxes.

I considered getting this Star Trek glass because I thought it was amusing—but resisted.

Here are some cute sewing patterns. The first one is this vest and culottes pattern from the 1970s that I think is awesome.

I thought these 1970s overall dresses were interesting—I probably wouldn’t wear them but they do make a statement.

I liked these 1970s separates.

This was a nice simple dress pattern.

And I thought these pajamas were interesting.

Finally, I liked the simplicity and asymmetry of these 1960s dresses.
