Thrifted for $26.98

I got this awesome tennis top for $7.99. It has one pocket (for an extra tennis ball for serving). I love the simple geometric design on the front. I also got a pair of jeans for $4.

I got this Banana Republic navy blazer for $6.99. I used to have a blazer similar to this one—except it was black and a much cheaper version of it. I wore it until I had to throw it away since it was looking pretty ratty. So I was pleased to finally have a replacement for it.

And I got this leather skirt for $5. I would never buy a leather skirt new because they’re so expensive, but I couldn’t resist it at such a low price. And I like the stitching detail on it as well.

I love this mug. I like the simple design, the white glaze on the rough clay—so pretty. This was 50 cents.

And this cute Japanese animal mug was also 50 cents.

I got this white bowl for $1.

Finally, I got four cds for $1. Some blast from the past music.

Thrifted for $6.57

I got this Brooks Brothers navy dress for $4.50. I didn’t need another navy dress—but it fit well and I liked the cut of it. It has a 1940s utilitarian feel to it that I liked. It’s comfortable and it has pockets!
 

I also bought six Corning mugs for $2.07. I just like the simplicity and durability of these mugs.

Things I Didn’t Buy 25

Here are some kitchen related items that I thought were interesting. I didn’t need these ping pong bowls…at all. I just thought they were highly amusing.

Next up, I thought about getting this recipe box. I love the art on it (although it annoyingly didn’t quite close properly).

I liked the animal art on this pressure cooker.

I thought this Scout-O-Rama mug was cute.

And this Columbia Pacific Council mug was nice as well.

Thrifted for $9

I bought this simple white Noritake mug.

My favorite part is the bottom that has the logo and information—I love the type. 

I got this set of four Stegorcraft spoons that I thought were really cute.

I also got this ¼ teaspoon—I looked for other sizes, but only found this one. I liked the long handle.

Then I got two 2 quart Cuisinart pots for $3 each.

I was going through the items in my basket to make sure I wanted everything before checking out, when I decided to return one item. Instead of being lazy and just sticking the item in the wrong place, I went across the store to return it to its correct location. As I was making my way towards the checkout area, I noticed something on the ground—a wood inbox tray. I picked it up and knew I wanted it. I immediately thought I could take it to work and replace the black plastic inbox tray (that my workplace provided me) with this awesome wood and metal inbox. I happily spent $2 for it (it was my favorite purchase of the day).

Everyone seemed to notice my new inbox at work (I suppose it’s pretty hard to miss—its two tiers makes it fairly tall). I really love it. It’s something that’s always in my sightline, and I find it much prettier to look at then my old inbox.
