I’m willing (and do) pay full price for items that I really want or need. However, I like getting a good deal on things if I can, which is one of the reasons I like thrift shopping.
Here are three items I got in the last couple of months at different thrift shops. I somehow ended up with warmer pieces because I think people were doing some spring cleaning to their closets in anticipation of the summer.
Purple H&M turtleneck:
I really love the color and like the little buttons that go down the neck. It’s
a simple but versatile top that goes well with jeans or a skirt.
Scallop Ann Taylor
Loft cardigan: I really love the scallop collar detail that’s feminine but
not girly. It’s black (which is a great neutral color) and I like the soft material
it’s made out of. This cardigan looks good with skirts and dresses.
Gap zipper cardigan:
I love the collar that’s asymmetrical. It’s a nice cozy navy cotton sweater that
goes well with jeans.
I didn't spend all that much on these three pieces (maybe around $20), and I think I'll get some good use out of them once the season eventually changes.
