A Classic Strand of Pearls

I’ve been on the lookout for a pearl necklace for a while because a strand of pearls never goes out of style. A pearl necklace is forever refined and lady-like; it’s a simple accessory that immediately dresses up an outfit. It may be costume jewelry, but it’s elegant costume jewelry.

Now I wasn’t on a full-blown search with an intense desire to get this classic necklace, I was just keeping one eye open when I happened to be in the jewelry section of a store. I didn’t have exact specifications for the necklace (whether long or short)—I was keeping an open mind. But my search was over when I finally picked one up at a thrift shop recently for $7.

I got this 60 inch pearl necklace that I love. It has a nice sheen to it and is in pretty good condition. It’s quite versatile because of its length; I can loop it around my neck two or three times for a different look.
